Same with animal testing. Our paychecks are allocated to the penny on necessities to survive and often times there is no wiggle room to look at products with no animal testing. I don't enjoy doing it, but currently any alternative to my lifestyle would put my ability to live at risk.

Right. Again, ‘as far as is possible and practicable’, as long as the effort has been made within one’s means. Some symbols to look for

So... As for what worked for me and pushed me to make changes, was that I was shown positive reasons that were beneficial to me specifically that got to making positive changes. It sounds selfish but, it's really easy to get into your own head and stop seeing outside the routine

Different approaches work for different people. I show positives, uncomfortable realities & everything in between. There’s no one right way. I personally needed to be confronted w hard truths. I appreciate your feedback and hope you continue trying to find ways to avoid animal exploitation 🙏🏻

That's where you're going to find success. Veganism is at it's best when it has something to offer the layman outside of the Missouri morality of the decision.

My first vegan dish, was one that played to vegan food strengths and did it's own thing, wholly different to what was out there, and while it triggered my food problem, it wasn't bad for what it was.
