i tricked a bergen local by understanding something she asked me and saying no thankyou then it all fell apart when she carried on talking + i had to ask her to speak english but she looked surprised and told me she thought i was norwegian i am SO PROUD 🇳🇴 of my pitiful language skills
Do you know much? I did some Norwegian on Duolingo but I threw away the app when they fired all those people to use AI instead lol
really only a tiny bit i learnt on duolingo for a few months in 2022 before going to oslo i’d meant to cancel it over the AI thing too then forgot so thought i might as well use it until my subscription runs out but it’s so bad now. i tried to go over the stuff from before but it’s all different
