People can reaffirm their own beliefs by seeing and coming into conflict with the deviance, and can better understand WHY they think the things they do. Or maybe they decide to change certain opinions or expand their viewpoint based on seeing things in a new light
The problem is that this role fucking sucks to play for the deviant party lol. At least if they’re being genuine and good faith about stuff and not just trolling, which is its own thing
Yeah, I get that. And that’s why I totally get shifting away from it. But just wanted to say I’ve appreciated the conversations and for me the passion for the music and for thinking about the music was the most evident contribution.
