I would say: Black/death describes any combo of the two, blackened death is a specific sound within that sphere that probably sounds something like 2000s Behemoth or Belphegor, and Black Death is just Darkthrone’s old name

My personal impression when reading Black/Death is always that the band must be quite bad if they have to switch between to styles instead of creating music which integrates both genres. You know, just because of the / which separates Black and Death. Of course i know better. But still...
