1. Talk to young people as much as possible, they are our future and we need their votes and voices to be heard. 2. Call out corporations as much as possible. Write emails, leave bad reviews, boycott. 2/2

3. Stop talking about the president. He is thriving off all the attention. Use terms like ‘this administration’. Stop giving him credit for all the awfulness, he’s just a mouthpiece. 4. Stop infighting. We all know the problems, further divisions won’t fix any of them. 3/3

5. Don’t rehash the headlines, tell your story. How is everything impacting you specifically? 6. Be proactive, not reactive. Moving your body and doing things helps keep your brain from falling into fight/flight/freeze. 4/4

7. Don’t talk politics, talk impact. Grocery prices are going up, stuff is getting harder to find, friends are losing insurance, and so much more. These are common ground items that directly impact all of us. That’s all I have for now, thanks for coming to my lecture. 5/5
