growing up there is just like any other town im sorry to report lol, best I can do probably is tell that seigfried and roy went to my church and I have a photo of me with one of their baby lions when I was a toddler.

that sounds adorable! and I need to see that picture someday non-americans probably assume everyone in vegas is an Elvis impersonator or related to one. kind of like how everyone in the UK is assumed to know royalty

my Mom was too young to see Elvis when he was in residence, but there was a house by my high school that Elvis allegedly was looking at the be Graceland before Nashville. They filmed scenes from the movie casino in my classroom and the neighborhood around my elementary school. That was pretty cool

Ron Howard's racist tour-de-force comedy "Gung Ho" was filmed in my hometown. I was an extra. I accidentally punched Opie in the shoulder. I walked Mimi Rogers back to her trailer. I have stood proudly on the gazebo the crew built in one of our nice little parks.
