BlueSky is somewhat boring!
Perhaps better than X, the jury is still out on it. However, social media relinquished political control to DHS (US) or other countries' Intel if the poster's outside the US. And it delivers and will deliver much more than digital authoritarianism. #TargetingIndividuals #DigitalMoney #Transhumanism
I agree - internet is a double edged sword. We still can use it wisely and unite, but the space for it keeps shrinking. It's amazing observing this process in front of your eyes, ugly but amazing...

Yeah, I am back here after like half a year and it feels a bit more stiff already. Don't know if the difference is me though - I was so enthusiastic about Bluesky when the big eX-odus happened, maybe the energy of those days was so powerful.
I noticed that searching for a topic or using hashtags facilitates communication around here. But again, social media is now strictly controlled, so you're not going to see a big difference no matter which social media you prefer.

It is clearly aimed at US audiences and then only US issues. Hardly any trends concerning Non US issues. Which is why I am looking for a non-US socmed app.
