Not 100% - my reading is that she'd remain in the family but subsequently have to adopt her own children (with the emperor's permission) for them to enter the royal family. Also (and there *is* precedent here), any children of theirs born prior to their royal adoption would not enter the family.

Eventually they're just going cut to the chase an instantly drum out every girl born to the imperial family.
