His critique was "headlessness", which is accurate? Jeffries is the one who is Shor-brained in insisting everything is a "distraction", trying to pivot to "price of eggs", rebuffing Mamdani for being too left/woke/etc. But then Lisa Cook gets fired and he fires off a tweet from 2021.
If the goal is to reverse engineer maximally persuasive text a la Shor-Yglesias thought, then this tweet is not that. But if it's to rally the base, who presumably do buy into the idea that Trump found an especially visceral appeal in targeting her because she's a Black woman - as I do! -
Then why is it only Lisa Cook that gets this pointed out? Why not say anything about race when e.g. Hegseth fired Charles Brown as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff! So yeah, Jain has a good critique here? It is a fucking headless strategy!
