i love how one of the largest schools in Asia doesn't even get a formal name

It must be an interesting story for the Portuguese to be in a French school while the whole South-American, Central-American, and a bit of North-American continent, all goes to a Brazilian school, also possibly lusophone.
Worldbuilding!
Apparently the Latin American one literally translates to 'wizard castle'
wait afghanistan and italy don't have wizard schools? also, huntington was too much of a coward to put the philippines in latin america
i've retconned that the italian wizard school is called Pizzaballa
Would be funny if the one group she hated more than trans people were italians
Very weird that neither of them thought, at minimum, one school per country.
JK Rowling fucks me up the most bc it implies that British people have more magic users per capita than anywhere else in the world. You're telling me both China and India, the two largest population centers globally , can get away with sharing one school? Get real.
Headmaster Deepak Masala does what he can.
Assuming that Hogwarts can serve the entire British population effectively (pop of abt 68 mil), then that would mean both China and India need at least 20 magic schools each.
Hell, one school for the British Isles is not enough IMO. You'd think there'd be at least one school for each for the four members of the UK given historical reasons alone....
Anyway, point being, Rowling's world builsing very sloppy and always has been.
the japan one just means βmagic placeβ
