To be fair, the US tax code packs in a ton of subsidies for middle class folks already. The secret welfare benefits the right frets about exist but they don't go to the folks they imagine they go to.

And I think there is a material difference (racism aside) between “have more babies and get to keep more of your money” and “have more babies and receive more of other people’s money”.
