If he actually comes up against local or state authorities who can frustrate his efforts, this entire thing could become a fiasco. I mean, the LA thing went pretty badly for him, and that was just the people organizing against him.
Also, submitting to trump makes trump look strong and dems like Pritzker look weak. Thats the ideal scenario for trump. A real conflict has the potential to make trump look weak. And it definitely strengthens whoever stands up for themselves.
