What I’ve seen of the outer worlds 2 isn’t really exciting me, the first one was ok - a bit of a thin experience overall but probably expected for a new IP in a budget constrained environment, but 2 also seems to have lost some of its charm.

I'm more interested in this because of Avowed rather than OW1. OW1 just lost me about two-thirds of the way through (I gather I'm not alone in that) whereas I actually finished Avowed. Hoping that means they've figured out how to make these games more compelling to me, even if I can't articulate it.
See I didn’t get on with Avowed, after the first ‘boss’ battle I never went back to it.
