Just moved here from the east coast last year and I talk about this all the time! Also, why does it take each socal driver approximately ten minutes to start moving when a light turns green?

Ironically, the same people who will cling to your bumper at 80MPH while on the 5 will leave three empty spaces in between cars at lights. I know a big part of is, the phone. They stop early so they can cruise the phone while waiting.
