130k apps sounds like loadsâbut, with higher standards, ICE needs 500k to hire 5k. & what signals failure more than trying to FORCE FEMA workers to join ICE? With lower standards, ICEâll get more apps (& predictably more corruption, violence & lawsuits), but even fewer will pass background checks!

The only qualifications now are worshipping Trump and the willingness to break the law to terrorize people of color. Current admin would consider forcing out those not agents not sufficiently loyal to Trump a win.

Totally unsupported by evidence but they may be offering reduced jail time for violent criminals if they do a few ICE raids. The violence is gratuitous and well practiced.
What sources do you have that show that ICE hasn't already hired all the Proud Boys, Nazis, and white supremacists that have applied?
Simple solution, they skip background checks, so who cares if they give guns to murderers? The GOP is 100% ok with it.
