i can't delete my old fb account anyway bc all of my family, relatives, former teachers, and friends of all stripes are there, and for 90% of them this is the only way they can contact me or vice versa. but yeah other than the proliferation of flags we don't have as much of a problem.
That all migrated to WhatsApp. The advantage is the lack of drama on public posts
our domestic equivalent of whatsapp is pretty widely used but requires a vietnamese phone number so i can't use it and also they wanted to become an everything app so now they also have channels and marketplaces
