Or are on board with it. I’m listening to Rachel Maddow’s “Prequel” book on the history of fascism in America and one of the things that’s become apparent is lots of people were into it then for a lot of the same reasons they’re into it now. But, back then, they’d openly embrace it.

I’m finding the ubermensch analysis really interesting. Helps to connect some of the dots re: those people who feel the restraints of democracies are holding them down and preventing them from fulfilling their destinies outside the boundaries of civil society.
