Probably it's just because I tend to post on subjects that draw hostility, but I think this place in general is calmer than Twitter was ten years ago - the nuclear block, detaching quote posts etc are pretty effective ways to kill conflict if you want to use them.

I just spoke with a doctor who won’t watch the news anymore for its relentless assault on mental well-being. And I know people who have stopped with BSky for this reason. So to assert the decline is from BSky itself is definitely [Citation needed].
