Newsom has been an opportunist ghoul who’s hated the homeless for years now, and this schtick with throwing trans people under the bus isn’t unlike how he’s treated homeless people. Even did a photo op of destroying homeless encampments with his own hands, literally, and through it was good PR.

he’s probably the only democrat who’d dare to circumvent established laws to push policy, like the current sitting president is doing, which may be a factor (ex: he allowed same sex marriages to be officiated and licenses in SF before same sex marriages was made legal by the SC in 2016)

unless people collectively as a whole reject candidates like newsom — then yes, unfortunately. but as of now so many people online are trying to vilify people and claim ‘purity tests’ for people like me who won’t support it, so I have no faith.

Mamdani has been popular in his bid for NYC mayor and he campaigned on helping everyone, including trans and homeless people. people want candidates who care about the welfare of everyone.
I’m rooting for Mamdani I know the democratic party will do everything they can so he doesn’t win, and I worry about him.
