It’s pretty obvious: you will never get unity if you tell people to “pause” thinking about their human rights, because people will not do that, and instead they will get mad at you, because then you are standing in the way of them having human rights.
There is enormous room for disagreement within that framework, but “you lot here need to shut up about what you need” is a recipe for division.
