For many minorities it has always been a police state. Ask Black folks what their entire American experience has been since the first people who were kidnapped and sold here went into slavery.

Well known. Worked as an anti-racism activist and advisor in the ‘70’s. The ugliest horror stories about what KKK and others did. It gave me nightmares but strengthened my resolve. It’s why I am so angry 😡 about MAGA and Trump. Not to mention that he’s a felon and a sexual predator.

No problem. Your statements are absolutely on point. So much heartbreaking tragedy. The unfairness and subtle violence combined with the callousness of the racism I witnessed as a college kid influenced me to pursue a role where I could do something instead of just be angry.
