I think that any attempt by a civilian to touch one of these agents to make a citizenās arrest would immediately be deemed an assault, and the civilian would be arrested by the agent.

I foresee roadblocks, literally and figuratively. Theyād have to be funded by blue states without any federal funds. Theyād have to contract with rail companies specializing in true high speed rail, because the fossil-fueled rail industry is aligned with the right wing, thus red states. Thoughts?
Although, Indiana was a Confederate sympathizing state. And Ohio effectively was, too. Back then, it wouldāve been much more difficult. Today, the ability to construct those bullet train railways in the red states between blue states could present real problems.
