I live in Chile and am married to a Chilean. When I told her about the deportations in the US her immediate response was “Oh, just like in Chile.” The US isn’t like Nazi Germany, yet, but it’s hard to see much of a difference between it now and Pinochet’s Chile.
Pinochet was training by US at the School of American in Panama, All the dictators in South America was training the same way. Extreme right existing in US since ever.
