You can always walk away. They just don’t want to go to prison for walking away. So instead they will follow oranges orders and help pick up trash and put people in cages and hurt their fellow Americans.

You think they should desert and go to prison over picking up trash? Their time is being wasted, but the National Guard are not putting people in cages. The ones doing that actually CAN walk away, without going to prison.

What I want them to do means nothing. They can quit if they really want to. Yes, there are consequences for quitting; but y’all on here acting like they can’t walk away because of some super contract that has never been broken in the history of time is weird. People go awol all the time.

Just a few weeks ago, the national guard was also peacefully firing rubber bullets, tear gas, and flashbang grenades at protesters in Los Angeles for no reason; but they did sign a contract and the benefits are just way too good.

All hostilities aside. I've pulled NATO guard protecting nuclear weapons sites. If protesters break an established perimiter they are allowed to use force to hold them back. For us it would've been deadly force. In the current administration it appears the response is in question because protests

were getting out of hand. Don't blame the NG because the crowd was tearing up the place, throwing molotov's, destroying police cars, looting etc. Stop looking at it from one side only. It was NOT a peaceful demonstration.
