Exactly! And that's why I was wondering between a 2" adapter and 1.25" as my scope accepts both eyepiece sizes. I may experiment and get both. Thanks for the replies, very kind!

You won't find a 2" T-mount adapter for your Canon EOS. That's partly why I say to stay with 1.25" You might find a more expensive EOS mount-to-2" single piece adapter (I 3D printed my own) but that's more expensive and less useful than a standard T-mount adapter.
