I hear you. I do think that this was intentional on the part of the documentarian (I feel like he admitted as much?). And maybe that's why I feel like it's great episode -- it's telling a story from a completely different viewpoint (and playing on how off-putting that feels to us). 😁🖖
I'm hesitant to agree because even though we don't know exactly how Beto edited it, unless he changed the words, they were all saying, "These orders suck, but orders are orders!" Uhura walks away when confronted. For someone being angry at Starfleet, the propaganda he created was top tier! 🖖🏾
I totally hear what you're saying. For me it came down to allowing the creature in the end to choose its own path -- even if the way there wasn't clean. Thanks for sharing!
