I hear you and appreciate you sharing. πŸ––πŸ˜ I wonder if, like in last week's documentary that wanted to be anti-Starfleet, we're feeling exactly what was intended? Put another way: If we were to write an episode about racism, what would it look like/feel like?

I actually mentioned that in my react video. From last week to see what Spock went through to this episode, we needed to be reminded. There has always been a racist element as McCoy wasn't the nicest to Spock but Spock took it, now we are seeing why Spock is becoming who he became.

I feel like the writers are using subtlety and nuance, and I love that. I also understand that, with what's going on in the world, subtlety can get lost. (In a way, it's asking whether we can keep our hearts open even with this). I totally appreciate what you're saying. Thanks for the reply πŸ––πŸ”₯
