Since the writer of the article that set this discussion off describes himself as a journalist, I’m surprised that he chose sweeping general statements about complete absence rather than look for, and find at least one of, the many people who do address this topic Genuinely curious as to why

Is it a hyper specific approach that’s missing? Like narrow definition of left plus catering specifically to men who are interested in women? Did he encounter the discoverability problem and not realize it’s happening? Did he favor reaction-inducing in an attempt to circumnavigate said problem?
