And if they don't, they're going to be without a democracy.

Pretty sure some national guard guys deciding not to pick up trash in DC isn't going to save democracy. Their refusal of orders here won't help anything, it'll only harm them. It's easy to say you'd have the principles to ruin your life behind a keyboard.

And it's easy to say they should do nothing, that it won't help anything and only harm them. Is that what you'll say when they come knocking on your door?

I'm not saying to do nothing, I'm saying to take actions that are meaningful, and avoid harm where possible. Advocating for a bunch of service members to be homeless because they happened to get picked for Trump's dick measuring isn't helpful to anything.
