It has been probably the technology industry and the nerds who created it who have been one of the most influential. For good reason, clearly, because what they created *gestures broadly* is kind of like literal magic? Idk about you but I have no idea how this actually works at the lowest level

I won't criticize or disagree w/ all the various theoretical schools of thought associated, some or even most are useful - even if I disagree. And especially w/ "AI" things happening recently, I've found myself seeing more and more similarities between how my mind works and how computers function

And anyway, a lot of the more theoretical thinkings aren't directly attributable to the people who actually were doing the computer things. For example, the one I am working towards, I'm not sure how close it is or is not to the tech industry - but I am sure the basic concepts have been influential

as far as the real world influence, are the points I very firmly disagree with, and that is 1. disruption/disorder/chaos is a good thing and necessary for the creation of useful ideas/processes/etc First, one of those is not like the other Chaos, to me (as explained in the linked reddit comments)

Is, in a word: potential The others are another word for, or similar to: destruction These are opposites I think we all are aware of the propaganda, particularly from galaxy brained dudetechbros, in order to grow the economy (like a cancer, like that's a good thing) what is needed is disruption

So actually, maybe they're right, because clearly what is the result of the type of economical strategies which have been guaranteed to be "successful" and continue is something that to me looks a lot like cancer

& that is very much related to discordianism the chaos/disruption/etc I mean & that is very much a type of thinking which is influential to a lot of people in those types of circles whether they realize it or not en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Discord...
