maybe i’m jumping the gun but i don’t think anyone has to worry about “overthrowing capitalism” capitalism is overthrowing itself. the way i see it, there’s three realistic paths afterwards; corporate feudalism, one party maga socialism, democratic socialism.

no it’s not lol everyone is poor. capitalism is falling apart, that’s why we’re slipping into fascism. it’s the end of western neoliberalism. there is no money circulating. now it’s just rich people grasping at straws trying to maintain their control.
Those rich people are becoming richer. Like I said, more wealth concentration. This is why you get liberals insisting the economy is good.
liberals are morons. wealth concentration breaks everything. most of the country is two paychecks away from homelessness. they got too greedy and overplayed their hand. the market only works if people have money to spend. if everyone goes broke at the same time everything falls apart.
also if anyone hears the term “maga socialism” and thinks “NOOO NOT THAT KIND OF SOCIALISM” then congratulations, you’re one step closer to understanding why people are skeptical of authoritarian socialism.
Capitalism is tightening it's grip on power. Just because it's making things worse for most people doesn't mean it's destroying itself. I would love to hear how socialism/anarchism would just fall upon us without people doing anything
no, capitalism is spiraling out of control. there’s essentially no middle class anymore, basically everyone has a negative net worth, and the job market is cooked. every danger stock market indicator is so far off the charts it’s not even worth measuring anymore. quite literally a time bomb.
i genuinely don’t think we’ll make it to the end of the year without the collapse of the US dollar that would take down all of western capitalism with it. MAYBE til next summer. what happens after that is gonna be the make or break moment. gotta use the momentum to change the system.
fascism is capitalism’s last dying gasp. the good thing is it would be an awesome opportunity to put blame on trump and radicalize a ton of people. the bad thing is there’s probably gonna be riots and marshal law.
We had a great depression before and capitalism kept going. I can't imagine how any kind of socialism would form without building the new in the shell of the old. The Spanish anarchists were building power for 70+ years before their revolution
i fear this might be worse than the great depression. like, new world order territory. like, new digital currency, fighting china/BRICS for world power kind of deal. and we’d lose because we haven’t won a war since ww2. NATO is the axis this go around. china might liberate us after lol
If we don't use however much momentum we have currently and what you're saying is true, fascism would win instead of socialism.
