I visited Montpelier in the summer of 1982. I had a motel room in Barre & decided to stop & check out the State Capitol & city on my way to Portland Maine. Beautiful city ! Loved walking along the river & visiting the State Capitol. If I had the money, I'd move there along with my 2 cats.
