This is why we have to be hyper focused on our local communities. Talk to your neighbors and service workers. Commiserate and support each other. Lead by example. Most people just don’t know what’s going on or don’t understand or just keep their heads down.
A lot of really shitty things will happen to “average Americans” soon. And I hope they’ll finally see that we’ve been left to fend for ourselves. Ideally I’d love folks to wake up and see that we’re in a class war, but I’ll settle for acknowledgment of our current christofascist state
It’s just wild to me that less than a month ago some anti-vax incel shot up A FEDERAL AGENCY and it barely made headlines. Like…I don’t think most Americans even know that it happened? Hell, a lot of news outlets kept saying it was a shooting “near Emory” rather than mention CDC.
