. If 'Justice matters', then there's no such thing as 'going too far'. Just ask the victims. Meanwhile, what the actual fuck is your point, 'doctor'? #smfh

😂 Thanks for the lol on a crap morning!
child predators and is raeli genociders more relevant
That’s how long it takes the police to actually solve a case.🤣
😂😂😂😂😂
👏😆
Not only will they produce DNA evidence, they will probably use it to produce living versions of those involved and re-construct exactly what happened….
I´m thinking of a song.."A-Well-a everybody's heard about the bird! Bird bird bird, b-bird's the word. A-Well-a bird bird bird, bird is the word. A-Well-a bird bird bird..." Yeah, I put that song in your heads now.. I WILL NOT SUFFER ALONE 😆
Thanks… I guess! One eyed one horned flying purple people eater Back at’cha!
NOOOOO 😆
😂😂😂
My brain needed you two on insomnia night... 🤣
😆
Aww. 😂
#justiceforterrorbird
It is necessary to bring closure to millions of Budgies around the world.
No crime shall go unpunished.
Typical leftist bias! It was Biden, duh!
👀
The coldest of cases.
This is a SYFY Network show I would enjoy.
There’s no statute of limitations on murder though.
😆 🤣
Declare a war on it.
Cold, hot we are drinking that. New world water.
Justice for the terror bird
Cold Case Files, Jurassic Edition.
“There is no statute of limitations on violent crime” goes a little too far here.
Law & Order: Jurassic Victims Unit
In the paleozoic justice system, ancient offenses are investigated by an elite squad of fossil analysts. These are their stories... 🎵 DUN DUN Detective Smilodon: “Looks like this guy didn’t just go extinct—he got erased.”
Forensic Paleontologist: “Teeth marks on the femur suggest a 3-ton croc. It wasn’t personal. It was lunch.” Judge Triceratops: “I’ll allow it… but tread lightly, counselor. You’re walking on thin sediment.” Season finale twist? The real killer was... climate change.
No statute of limitations for murder
There is no statute of limitations on bird.
Birdur
Try telling that to a rotisserie chicken left out on the counter
🤣
Not just a bird…a TERROR bird.
It was a cold-blooded killing.
No statute of limitations. Lock reptile up. Lock reptile up. Lock rep... oh it's long gone? Justice loses again.
Stretching the definition of 'cold'...
Is there a statute of limitations on killing terror birds?
As I ever post, fly high, above & stars & sky, “terror bird”. 🌈🪽😔🏵️ If there’s an afterlife I welcome dinosaurs too. No more pain & “terror”, just 💕🕊️
Alligator Alcatraz
I’ve already offered space to the 8ft 🐊 just walking down the city street. Far from water but just lost or walking to more water. FL AC called. They don’t relocate gators. They’re painfully tied up & sent to 🔪🐊 I have more afterlife tickets to animals than human beings. 💧💧💧🤕
Very good
Tulsi says Obama did it, NOT the so-called reptile
🤷😂
Little known fact. The Miocene epoch is also known as the Fookin' Chucky period. www.youtube.com/shorts/klQEH...
And what about the motive?🤨
#AvianAndReptileLivesMatter 😁😬
'Terror bird' is a very loaded term, and also mentioning they're very old is surely ageist. I think the BBC may be getting a cease and desist letter about this or they risk prejudicing any potential trial.
No if Reptile built a legacy on the spoils of that murder while Terror Birds descendants suffered unduly. 13 million years worth of reparations may be in order.
🤣🤣🤣
👌😹😂😹
There’ll be a Reddit group about this case already
😆😆😆
I think the statute of limitations has pretty much petrified
🤣
Nothing Changes for Asp’s and Birds…
"Terror bird" i think you mean the dentes avis (teeth bird in Latin, lmao)
Terror birds up here being victim shamed and I won’t stand for it.
Nope, that terror bird had it coming to him for all the horrible things his kind had done for millennia until karma finally caught up with him, and he was forced to pay for his crimes.
The “crime” of being a food insecure flightless bird is not punishable by extinction
I’m no evolutionary biologist or a reptile whisperer, but guess the thinking at the time was, “Kill them all and let God sort it out…”
That reptile is long gone me thinks.
🤣🤣🤣
Pam Bondi and the DOJ will be all over this. Obama suspected. Perhaps Hillary’s emails. Too early to tell.
🤣
That's a croc.
These comments are hilarious.
Hey! I have some large crows in my backyard that won’t stop talking about this. They say their ancestors will be vindicated!
CSI: Jurassic Era
😂😂😂
I guess they’ll be able to check dental records 🤷
Yes I Know. Also this is a good screenshot of BBC News Though!
😂😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣🤑🤑🤑😜😉
What the heck is a terror bird?
No, no, this is a refreshing new approach to true crime, the podcasts are getting repetitive nowadays.
It's time to deliver the profile.
🤣🤣🤣🦖
#JusticeForTerrorBird
LOL
The Republican branding machine stole the term War on Terror from honest fighting reptiles. 🐊 Protecting us since 13 million years ago.
The IOPC are looking for two police officers to throw under a bus for a delayed report on this event.
The murderer's probably dead by now.
If it’s a bird like reptile 13 million years ago does that mean the dinosaurs didn’t go extinct and instead just evolved?
Birds are avian dinosaurs. Terror Birds were predatory, flightless birds that emerged in South America 55 million years ago & after the creation of Isthmus of Panama spread to North America. They went extinct ~1.8 mya. They are as close to a second coming of dinosaurs as the Earth has seen.
Yes into Chickens and other birds as well as the ones that have been around the whole time. Sharks and gators and turtles/tortoises have been around since the beginning of time. Why is it too hard for us to think an emu or a turkey vulture wasn’t once slightly larger with different finger nails ?
It's not hard for ME to imagine: I refer to the birds where I live as "my little dinosaurs." I remember the 1975 article in Scientific American in which Robert Bakker hypothesized that some dinosaurs were warm-blooded. Whew! The negative reaction! And now it's widely accepted.🦜
💯. They didn’t know that some had feathers until like 96. We may never know it all but birds definitely are the remnants of our giant predecessors. www.smithsonianmag.com/science-natu...
OK, I didn't know that, which means that Bakker was 21 years ahead. Many thanks for the linque.
Come to think of it i watch Jurassic Park yesterday and the guy at the start was convinced dinosaurs are the ancestors of birds and everyone was laughing at him. This was filmed in the ‘92 but they didn’t mention feathers.
Just finished reading the Smithsonian article as well as the NY Times article. I had no idea that chickens and ostriches are related to T-Rex. I find that astonishing. It's one of those fun facts to know and tell, and in fact I just texted my sister with the Smithsonian linque.
You’ll notice it all the time now lol. If you see a cassowary, especially its feet it seems pretty obvious now. We even call some of them raptors. It’s really interesting to me
Yes there is a whole group of birds of prey that are considered raptors. Here is a longer read if you are interested www.blm.gov/sites/defaul...
Thanks for the info, I was aware about what raptors are today but there’s a lot in there I didn’t know at all such raptors “have 3 eyelids”!
Yep it takes more than just being a “bird of prey” to be a raptor :) I am cautiously respectful of all birds. I like to watch them from anywhere that my head is covered :)
I keep it on my phone…I am sure there are more up to date ones but this one keeps it simple enough for people to understand and they tend to trust the Smithsonian :) then they can do further research if they wish :)
I wonder what we’ll look back and laugh about not knowing now what we will know in 30 years.
I worded that badly but hopefully you’ll catch the drift
That’s the best thing about Science. It’s always evolving and looking to best itself. We though the Earth was the center of the universe at one point and now we know we are just one small part of it :)
I think it’ll be the medical advances. People will be shocked we let friends and family suffer from terminal illnesses and debilitating diseases for years when in the future we’ll be able to cure most diseases easily. Figuring out Quantum Computers/mechanics will push us way forward
Omg yes. They are using AI to diagnose breast cancer like years earlier than a radiologist could. The AI can detect minute changes before you can see them on the mammogram or even a CT scan
I think the first feathered dinosaurs weren’t discovered until 1996. It’s amazing how we’d now laugh at anyone who didn’t know birds are dinosaurs
I don’t laugh. I try to educate that’s why I keep that Smithsonian article on my phone :) but yea it was 96. Thats why the Dinos change in the Jurassic Park movies. They even got the wrists on the TREX right I hear this time around :)
This Smithsonian article mentions Bakker too
Thanks for this. I'll look it up.
It’s a short article from 2008 that mentions the dinosaurs were more like birds than lizards and of course that things like crocodiles and sharks are further back on the evolutionary line
I mean have you ever been chased by a chicken? It’s terrifying
Yes 👍 now I can imagine it 4 or 5 feet tall running around. But exactly! I always forget about these awesome birds.
Ooh I guess there exists “giant” ones that are just that. Super cool!
😳
Right. Little dinosaurs :)
Not confirmed to be Ozzy?
[County coroner shouting at young assistant] "... dammit ENHANCE!!!... LOOK! right there the distinct pattern that only bird teeth have!! We must extract DNA and run the results through our system!!! Where are those results!!! ENHANCE!!! ENHANCE!!!!" [Assistant] "My name isn't Enhance."
Ah yes, "CSI - Miocene Age" is all the rage now.
JUSTICE FOR TIM THE TERROR BIRD!
'Terror bird' probably was a reptile 13 million years ago.
Justice Matters Most James Morgan McGill
Using the latest DNA tracing technology, descendents of the reptile were located and questioned about the allegations but remained silent.
One reptilian tried to escape via camouflage, but was caught and executed via catapult.
#Justice matters, next Ill be hearing the #election was stolen by #Elon⚡⚡and #Trump #raped little girls. .... oh wait never mind ...
I say release the files, then we can make our mind up.
Something tells me that, as interesting as this might be to some, there may be a few more pressing issues to deal with. YA THINK?!
Cue opportunity for Nigel Farage to blame it on an immigrant.
Turns out, Jurassic justice is a thing.
Will we see a Netflix documentary that should be 20 minutes, but instead is two seasons?
Which is exactly why we need to root out the rot. We need to invoke Article V, Clause 2. We need a Constitutional Convention. We need 28A: right to vote. 29A: abolish the EC. 30A: abolish political chokehold of the SC. 34 State Legislatures is all we need.
The illustration captures how hilarious terror birds look when bitten by a lizard
And of course that reptile is only sorry because it was caught...
Yes, sadly, the time for closure has passed.
So, release the Epstein client list. The most important issue is of course the release of the Epstein client list.
I smell a podcast.
I can't believe how people still think that Dinosaurs Existed! If GIANT CREATURES roamed Earth 13M+ YEARS AGO how is it possible to know their names and exactly what they look like?????
This is snark, right? Otherwise, you sound like one of the defenders of Ark Encounter.
What the Fuck are you talking about!
Why did I think Taco when i read Terror Bird?
Soon the terror bird will be spotted in England. It is called the Brighton seagull 😅
No the Llandudno Seafront Seagull likes sandwiches ,Hotdogs , Beefburgers and it's favourite delicacy of all time Whipped Ice Cream.
But they have let the herbivores of the hook.
The not knowing is what keeps archeologists up at night.
They're always curious to know why, lol...
lol you’re right but check your dm
Also the label "terror bird" is victim shaming and hardly appropriate for an organisation committed to unbiased reporting.
😹👍
*smile* reminds me of 1969 when I was working on a dig in England and they found a skeleton 500 years old in the ramparts. The Coroner had to be called. Held up the dig for three days.
I hope they finally get the guy. My guess - it was someone the Terror Bird knew. Bite marks are personnel.
🤣🤣🤣
This could be big for the Estate of, Terror Bird, though.
I still maintain that it was in self defense
Redefining the newsworthiness of the News by the bbc
Terror Bird, and Killed By Reptile, are both good band names
No statute of limitations on birdocide ...
Tippi Hedren will be called as a witness
You’ll have to seance that one.
I like how they sensationalised the headline the way they would an actual homicide. Very droll.
LOL
🤣
Ah, there is still hope that Trump will face justice after all.
🤣🤣
Birds are reptiles. We think the perp may have been someone the victim knew.
I bet you Jeremy Corbyn had something to do with it.
I've never forgiven him for breaking up the Beatles.
I *knew* the T Rex was innocent…. the timing was all wrong.
The statute never runs out on MURDER.
cold-blooded cases
That bird had it coming, I tell ya.
sounds like something a reptile would say
I'm trying really hard not to shriek-cackle because I have a migraine (STILL). But then I did this low "don't scream do NOT scream" cackle that just caused more pressure, so I would've been better off with the scream. DAMN IT, DR! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Good one 🤣🤣
Surely the statute of limitations has passed by now.
It was such a great battle. Shame you guys all missed it.
"Terror Bird" youtu.be/J6kIEfGNT-U?...
There’s loads of deaths to be investigated from about 65 million years ago, by someone called Katie! 🤷♀️
bsky.app/profile/real...
Not if the reptile was an immigrant!
Slow news day?
whatttttt
It seems an apex predator was raping another apex predator's egg when mom caught it in the act. Its all recorded on a rock face with orange markers all over it.
Think of the family... Wait!
Have they check Epstein’s dental records, or Donald’s
@drfrancisyoung.bsky.social
There's probably no other crimes (war crimes, genocide, etc) going on anywhere else.
😆
I remember when I was young. We lived out in the country, and I absolutely fell in love with nature, especially birds. I would sit out at the edge of the woods and listen to their beautiful songs. The sweet cry of the terror bird echoing through the trees was the most peaceful thing I can remember.
Too late to do anything now.
law and order prehistoric victims unit
Release the terror bird files! This coverup has gone on long enough!
Bahahaha
We can't let creatures go around thinking that they can just murder our terror birds and nothing bad will happen to them
Surely the reptile had been trying to save the bird from the quicksand?
Well, it turns out that Bird WASN’T the word……..
The problem is locating reliable witnesses after all these years.
#BirdsLiveMaters!
Waiting for that bird to visit the White House.
Victim-centered podcast incoming
Thanks for the morning chuckle!
Good morning to you...☕
But they’re not really helping the prosecution by calling the victim a “terror bird.”
Yeah, I see this joke is too beloved for me to check if it’s the bird suspected of being the giant *Roc* of legend! Which excited me, as I want all mythologies to be partially true, but seems like a bad space for geeking out
Meanwhile the bird just needed space to Roc out!
For years, the detective had a picture of a pterodactyl on his wall, labeled “The One That Got Away”.
murder has no statute of limitations
Are toads like Farage really reptiles?
Thoughts and scares I mean prayers
🤣👍
As the name suggests, Terror Bird was the aggressor and reptile acted solely in self defense. No charges should be brought.
JUSTICE FOR TERROR BIRD!!!!
Without DNA the reptile will talk its way out of jail anyway 🙄
Few remember what it was like in the terror bird era.
It happened in Florida, didn't it?
😂🤣
😂😂😂
💙✊
I always say Justice sometimes move slowly but this is carrying it a little too far 🤣
CSI Gondwanaland
Given the ‘victim’ was a ‘Terror Bird’ there is surely a strong case for it being self defence.
"Terror bird" Just a cute Lil' bipedal murder machine.
Send the case to the ICJ.
what?
Blame Two Tier Kier, or something
Are you trying to be 'funny'?
Obama did it.
😆 I watched a documentary about crocodilian predation on early humans. Turns out there were some pretty freaking large ones. They found human remains in fossilized crocs, and also found many bodies that had been buried and were missing arms and legs. www.youtube.com/watch?v=K304...
Might I recommend an expert on bird law ...
Coincidentally, 13 million years is also when the Epstein files will be released.
Poor terror bird.
🤣🤣🤣
I'm sorry, this is "NOT" a cold case because the Orange Orangutan ran for office on it. He was the one who would not let the case go dark. I never thought I would agree with the MAGAs on anything, but I do on this. Release the Epstein files.
Given that most of the living can't get justice for more up to date crimes, like Republicans electing Trump, I think you have a point 🤣🤣🤣🤣
By terror bird they mean the scrub Jay that plans out its campaign of terror on the entire neighborhood and always wins
Waking the Dead
When I read stories about amazing scientific feats like this, I think about how there were buckets of blood at the OJ crime scene and yet they couldn’t prove he did it. Imagine if Robert Kardashian were alive today to defend this reptile: “If the shed skin don’t fit, you must acquit.”
Is this more satire than serious? Reminds me of the lobbyist who convinced a Senator to vote against a State College Funding Bill because, "Boys and girls are FORCED to Matriculate together". Any Scientific inquiry can result in unexpected revelations. Serendipity is a valuable tool of Science.
That is just diversion from the shitshow there is in wm
*me reading through 17th century trial documents, and clicking any article which seems to be a colonial period body dump* How far is too far?
There's no statute of limitations for MURDER!
So that is what Trump meant.
