Not for the first time, my plans for getting home from the IMC have been imperiled by train cancellations and delays.

In the end, it all worked! Made a train, if not the train I had booked, and another. Got to the gate with time to spare and was fairly impressed with my first Virgin Atlantic flight. Not quite home yet. But very nearly!

Same here! The flight was actually pretty good. The dive home afterward was easy if a bit long. In bed before 1am, so I’ll take it!
