I hope some organization that represents senior citizens files a request for an injunction to prevent DOGE from implementing this migration in production - until - their plan has been validated by third parties who can attest to its soundness 1/

A lawsuit requesting an injunction could demonstrate that Musk/DOGE's standard MO effectively guarantees they will release a system that's broken Which means it's almost certain that some portion (if not all) senior citizens receiving Social Security will suffer direct, irrevocable harm 4/

It's almost certain that some, if not all, will: - Not receive checks - Their checks will be sent to the wrong address - Their checks will be in the wrong amount - Historical data will be deleted, making it impossible for them to prove how much they're entitled to Etc... 5/

It would be beyond easy to demonstrate that the downstream effects of these mistakes would be real, irrevocable harm to people dependent on social security, including: - Illness from not being able to afford food, medication, ... - Homelessness when rent or mortgages can't be paid - Etc... 6/

I'm genuinely astounded that noone's filed such a lawsuit yet. It's such a no-brainer These folks have not proven themselves able to prevent harm to EVs, space rockets, or the country's nuclear stockpiles So why should we assume they will not also harm senior citizens? 7/
