Was it stupid-but-fun or stupid-and-really-fucking-stupid? The former can be a nice relaxing watch (most of what The Asylum have made, for a start), whereas the recent War of The Worlds I've avoided completely

It’s the difference between watching Commando and watching Moonfall. No one is ever wasting their time watching Commando, despite how objectively terrible it is. The universe, however, collectively owes humanity time back for inflicting Moonfall on us.
