Ok, had far too many Zwetschgen. Couldn’t come close to fit them all in. I guess I will make some Stew with them to have with Müsli in the mornings.
And it’s done! Last step: sprinkle cinnamon sugar over it while still hot. I am going to take it to the house‘s BBQ with the neighbors tonight. An event that was surprisingly organized by the couple living underneath us and without precedent in my 12 years here. Hopefully it will be a fun evening!

The BBQ will be great for the esprit de maison. We have one every year. This year the weather was fantastic. Not too hot, just nice.

It's a lost opportunity for them. They could've learnt so much about the benefits of A/C, automatic transmission, and plastic straws. Instead, they just get fresh homemade Zwetschgenkuchen. It's their loss, and everybody can see that.
The event was a big success (I guess because they didn’t know what they missed out on), and so was the Zwetschgendatschi. I have two small pieces left over.
