I think it dilutes them at least. Some go away with the water, fewer stay. For me it’s really more about the big dirt.
You not budging might torpedo the deal. 😈 In all honesty, since we are talking about 9 months at the earliest for you to move out, I think they should pay you off for every single month earlier that you move out. What’s a couple of thousand Euros when you are willing to pay close to a million.
I can only imagine! There is also mentioned that some schools pushed lower performing students out in order to improve their testing average to avoid getting closed. Seems pretty harsh! I find it interesting though that there seems an acknowledgment now that they might have gone too far.
I also think especially for elementary school it’s beneficial for it to be localized. Not just for the whole transport problem, but for social reasons, too.
The article seems to indicate that the before status was horrible and needed to be fixed. The fix worked to some degree. But now they are realizing the faults that are in the fix. Also one very telling sentence: the quality of school still very much depends on socioeconomic status.

Without knowing more specifics that sounds crazy to me. Charter schools destroy public education. They are in Florida where they basically didn’t exist 25 years ago.
Sometimes, I don’t know where I am. But after spending 5 minutes trying to trap a lizard that had found its way (my mom’s night porch visits might be the cause) into the guest bathroom, I can say with certainty that I’m not in Bavaria (although I did see my first German lizard in Mannheim recently).
Has it always been in charter schools? I’m not a fan as a proponent of real public education. I should also add that when I was a kid, I took buses until I started driving regularly at 15-1/2 and they were not AC’d back then. Schools, of course, were. Buses are now and have been for decades.

The thick rim was actually not an issue as it was quite tasty and not too dry at all.
If it doesn’t work well enough as a picture, let me know and I will try to convert it into a pdf. As you see, my notes are that I thought oven was too hot. But I have a baking tray that is black and heavy and it seems to bake everything a bit quicker.

Hilton Head is a beautiful area and the DVC resort is nice, if a bit less exciting than the others. Vero is beautiful as well and have stayed there far more. I was so psyched when Disney started building these (with plans for so many others), but they really are only interested in adding at WDW now.

The dough has been rolled out and needs another period of rest before we add the Zwetschgen.
In the meantime I finished the plums and they are ready! 3 kg does take some time. Let’s hope it’s enough! Recipe said 2.5 kg, but my experience is that you want them tight on the cake, so better get some more.
Next step: add butter and sugar (I added some vanilla sugar as well, that rarely hurts). The knead it into a nice ball. Recipe is confusing as it doesn’t specify another rest period, but I let it rest for another 30 minutes.
