Censoring the Smithsonian isn't an economic issue. It's in some ways symbolic and doesn't affect every American. But see how Van Hollen (one of the good ones) doesn't dismiss this as a distraction or a stunt, because it's important and matters.

Racist are always trying to stop/censor anything that even hints that they are the bad ones. The racists and Christian nationalists already have their own museum; the Ark abomination bullshit in Kentucky. They need to leave real museums they utilize science, fact, and social understanding alone.
