IDK, I tend to agree with those - spending late > early and novel information > familiar information are very well supported by academic literature.

People (not you) were asking if Blue Rose is a serious firm with real influence. I was confirming that they are. I don't have strong feelings about their advice---except for my worry that describing serious violations of democratic principles as distractions and stunts minimizes what's happening.

They lost us the election. Should be some consequence for that.

Well the results speak for themselves. Even if this strategy was fine, clearly other stuff they are doing need a ton of work. It seems like they are just overly reliant on short term election strategies instead of building long term foundations for attacks and messaging.

I was reading news articles comparing candidates in the lead up individual house races last night. Most of them had the candidates position on immigration. None had their thoughts on democracy or authoritarianism. The GOP forced their issue for years. The Democrats did not.

Describing their recommendations at that level of generality is wild
