They’re talking about the User Experience and interface design. This is the only positive thing this administration is doing. I know just paying a traffic ticket online is a nightmare of bad design that makes it extremely unclear if it’s paid or not.
A traffic ticket would be local or state governments, so not in this purview. And no, this is a massive negative. 18F and the US Digital Service was already doing this work to continuously improve federal design and UX/UI with competent experts. This admin trashed it all. Cc: @waldo.net
Yeah, it's absolutely bizarre to credit this administration with doing good with this. It's like a city tearing up the municipal water supply just for the hell of it, and then crediting them with doing something good after they declare they're going to run a few garden hoses to some houses.

If you're gonna try and defend this you should 1) understand the differences between federal and state responsibilities and 2) not argue with actual designers who are very familiar with what 18f did how these guys are gonna do jack all to make government design better.

Well I’d say as someone who does design for a living I wouldn’t have made you scroll for 30 seconds to read a 150 word paragraph lol. They might have trouble recruiting the “best designers” in the nation because most designers tend to be left or central leaning in my experience.
