I once made jam out green tomatoes (some French recipe, I think) and couldn't decide whether it was gross or intriguing. Was leaning toward gross but made a lot of people taste it. My brother-in-law thought it was delish on hamburgers, so it did find a forever home.
I made a green tomato chutney last year that I do really like. But this tasted like rotten cough drops lol
I keep meaning to make chutney and kimchi. I do hate cherry coffee drops, tho. Ludens were the WORST and they always stuck together. I do love fried green tomatoes. And I miss real cherries. I used to live in Wenatchee, WA, and it was fruitopia. Think I'm making Chinese noodles tonight. How bout u?
