The kids shot were literally praying at the time. Prayer is just a way to wish for something from an imaginary genie.

I mock people of faith because I was raised with them. 8 years of catholic school, being hit by nuns if I made a sound. Damned to hell by my dad when I said I wasn't going to attend church anymore. People of faith are the most bigoted people I have ever met.
