Why does it seem to be only pharmacy chains that offer same day doctor appointments that are giving people trouble?

Not sure. Pharmacies were an easy way to get the vaccines out to alot of people. I am 69 so I am eligible for the Covid Shot. But not available in my area since they banned it plus u need to have a prescription from your doctor. Will just have to go to my primary physician and have medicare pay.

The issues haven't been entirely limited to states with extra restrictions. Unless the wording is specifically primary care provider, this is likely to generate a lot of extra business for places like CVS due to their ability to supply both vaccine and prescription.
