Evalia sips from a cup of tea, taking her time to formulate an answer. Large canines were always so... energetic, and collies seemed the best/worst. It was a spectacular sight, to be sure, but there was a more pressing matter than that hip pressing on what used to be the financial district. +

There were such things as boundaries, and if one didn't enforce them? The black vixen set the cup and saucer down on a nearby surface, taking a moment to reach a hand out. "If in your amusement you have harmed any friends, or family, of mine? I will certainly have fun. Just a bit of warning dear."

The collie, more excited than ever, perked up at the warning. "Ooh, you think they were in those stuffy old bank buildings? Nah, your people are probably in the arts district!" Hip-checking the building, already on her way there, she challenged, "Just try and stop me! I love a good kaiju battle!"

There was a moment of the black vixen staring, before she picked up her cup and drained it. Shadows pooled right in the path of the collie, just a slight bit darker than they should be. People did happen to step through trying to avoid those feet, noticing a chill in the air. A smell like... tea?

A battle would ruin the city, and more importantly the sights. As the cup was finished, Evalia turned it upside down over the saucer and a pool of black appeared in the bottom. As the collie stepped into those deep shadows - it was like stepping off a cliff. Swallowed up in darkness, and falling.

Only to land on a hard surface, under the inverted teacup. The smell of tea was strong, overwhelmingly so. The sorceress snorted and dropped the tea cup on top. "Challenge accepted." Muffled through the dome of fine china. "Oh settle down, it's not like this was Kyoto. That would be REAL trouble."

After a rattle, the lip lifted at one side, and a tiny snout poked out to exclaim, "I've heard of teacup dogs, but this is ridiculous!" Ever the playful pup, she didn't seem put out by the change of plans. "This tea smells great, by the way! Got enough to share? I don't drink much, not now anyway!"

"In a bit, once I get you back to my place and where I keep the tea leaves." At least she stopped keeping them next to the... other, alchemical herbs. For now she peered at the damage and did mental calculations. "That's not going to be TOO bad, all things considered." Then a disorienting sensation-

As the cup lifted into a rather austere kitchen, the pup-in-a-cup was set on a counter while a kettle was on. Evalia was getting two more out to share. "If you are still after a 'battle', there is a place I know where we can get... rowdy... and not necessarily harm anyone." A grin. "If you wish."

Out from under the cup, the miniature collie struck a confident pose despite her size. "Oh I wish," she answered back and added a wink. "For any sense of 'rowdy' that you can keep up with." Whether the dog had more tricks up her sleeve or just enjoyed the fair play of turnabout was anyone's guess!
