There was a video posted by my local MP (Oliver Ryan) today, which tackled this point. A local building has been hit by an arson attack because a local Reform councillor claimed (falsley) it was being renovated for use as a hotel for asylum seeker.

And yet so much of the commentary will be around the fact that it was a false rumour, rather than the absolute fucking horror of them firebombing *any* hotel to be used by *any* people.

It should be on the use of incendiary language by a certain type of political affiliation, intended to sow division and hatred, which gives ammunition to the hooligan element of our society to carry out despicable behaviour.
