I heard Cooper mention other European countries had longer periods between successful asylum claims and the ability to reunite families. Is the fact that we are an island a specific challenge to us following suit with other countries?

This is the bit I am disappointed he didn't say. Having argued vehemently with my better half of the use of flags in our area (she was offended I suggested they were used for racist purposes) I can see why Starmer is supportive of "flags", but there needs to be a definitive "red line" between him

So far as I can see this is a video from about a month ago. Not sure why it is being reposted now.

It should be on the use of incendiary language by a certain type of political affiliation, intended to sow division and hatred, which gives ammunition to the hooligan element of our society to carry out despicable behaviour.

There was a video posted by my local MP (Oliver Ryan) today, which tackled this point. A local building has been hit by an arson attack because a local Reform councillor claimed (falsley) it was being renovated for use as a hotel for asylum seeker.

And, given this rise was projected to happen, with it projected to fall in the following year, what that will mean then?

Is there not an assumption there would be more transactions going through, thus increasing the tax take? (Whether there are the conveyancers available to take on the increased work is another argument.)

I appreciate it may not mean much coming from someone you don't even know, but I am genuinely sorry to hear that. I hope things improve for you soon!

What else is synonymous with football? Hooligans. I have a feeling this will be an "own goal" by Farage.
