Don´t think so. They are not capitulating. They wait for J. D. Vance - before they were just imitating the "good guys".. Not necessary anymore.

Vance is disliked more than 35% approval Trump. Independants that supported the GOP are abandoning the party at historic levels. Levels that have never occurred in America before. Moderate Republicans as well. And it is accelerating.
