It’s somewhat petty of me but hearing that the Sonic series was struggling to survive a decade ago and seeing the recent increase in people saying ‘wow yeah those years were actually really shit’ feels so incredibly validating Like thank fuck, it wasn’t just me then
To be more positive about it I am incredibly glad that the series finally managed to win me back. I was so completely done with the series this time ten years ago that I honestly didn’t think there was anything whatsoever that they could do to make me genuinely care about the series again.
Truthfully I knew this franchise’s reputation took a turn for the better when people showed genuine excitement for Black Doom returning in the first trailer for Shadow Generations.
